PHILOSOPHER TALENT

(Also known as Indirect Resource BaZi Profile)

GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS

Philosopher Talent belongs to INTELLECT Character Component, together with Analyzer, its counterpart.

Philosophers are known for their insights, wisdom and strategic abilities.

While Analyzers might be more interested in mainstream intellectualism and study, Philosophers find their passion for more thought-provoking knowledge like metaphysics, paranormal and spiritual studies.

They enjoy exploring the mysteries of the universe, trying to understand how the world works. They are observant, curious and have an inherent desire to explore.

Often they can be geniuses in their fields, or have extraordinary abilities. They are highly objective and able to observe subjects and matters from all sides.

Their life path is the one of mental exploration, which often involves spirituality. If their powers are recognized and supported from an early age, they can become great visionaries and discoverers.

Philosophers need time and space on their own to fully engage in their mental and creative possibilities.

On a negative side, Philosophers tend to live in their heads and prefer isolation a little too much. As a result, they can become quite eccentric, can act aloof, remote and find it hard to socialize and follow conventional social standards.

CHARACTER TRAITS AND PROFESSIONS

Below are few key character traits and professions which are related to the Philosopher Talent, accompanied with real-life examples from famous people so that you can get a better idea of its unique characteristics.

MASTERS OF DATA

Philosophers are very well suited for large business corporations because of their ability to master vast data, although they should avoid working in large groups.

Paul Graham, Steve Jobs, Nate Silver, and Warren Buffet, they all build their businesses on their abilities to process information and turn it into useful, mainstream products.

A lot of Philosophers are involved in banking and stock market business because of their ability to understand the market and its fluctuations.

UNIQUE

Philosophers are often unique, they have strange hobbies and are interested in things which are not very common, or even earthly.

There are plenty of artists whose style reflects these character traits, like for example Jimi Hendrix, Jude Law, Christian Bale, Keanu Reeves, and Leonardo Di Caprio. Each of them we could classify as eccentrics, by way of life, or by the roles they take while performing, like Batman (Bale), Neo from Matrix (Reeves) or Dom Cobb from Inception (Di Caprio).

Philosophers rarely copy what others do; they can develop their unique approach, which is usually hard to compare with anything else, and they take a lot of pride in that.

ECCENTRIC BEHAVIOUR

When this uniqueness starts to go out of control, it can turn into highly eccentric behavior, loaded with fear, paranoia, and lead them to total isolation. A thirst to be different can drive Philosophers away from any social interactions, believing that other people have nothing new to offer.

In this state of mind, they can also develop a high sensitivity to germs and viruses, which often can be just a product of their imagination, and excuse for isolation. Leonardo Di Caprio portraited one of the most famous eccentrics, Howard Hughes, in the movie Aviator. Howard Hughes suffered from allergies and germs paranoia. Both, Di Caprio and Hughes have strong Philosopher Talent in their charts.
