Clavicular & Lookmaxxing

ClavicularI’m not a regular user of Instagram and TikTok, so I have to admit, I miss a lot of trends, especially those among young people. Recently, I saw the news about a guy called Clavicular and the Lookmaxxing trend. Clavicular claims to help people build confidence, and that piqued my interest. I wanted to see the BaZi Chart of the guy who is apparently selling confidence to young men and women.

FLOODED YIN WOOD

Clavicular’s real name is apparently Braden Peters, so I will call him that. Braden was born as a Yin Wood Master Element during the Winter season. Generally, he has a lot of Water Element, further increased by the Rooster branch, so his Chart is clearly cold.

Clavicular BaZi Chart

Water is a Resource for Yin Wood, Intellect Component, and considering its strength, it makes him rather eccentric and self-absorbed. If you look at his live appearances, he rarely pays attention to the people around him; he is constantly conscious of his own appearance, becoming borderline obsessive. This Water does give him a certain confidence, because Yin Wood that is well-nourished by Water tends to have a clean, youthful look, and Yin Woods are anyway a bit vain and very aware of their image. They are like delicate flowers; appearance matters a lot to them, often much more than they would admit.

With this much Water, the mind turns inward, creating unusual ideas, unstable identity, and a tendency to over-focus on aesthetics and self-presentation. It’s a textbook flooded Resource pattern.

BALANCING ELEMENTS

The Chart is cold and out of balance, but the Stems help us understand how he channels all this Water. Yang Earth is especially interesting here, because that’s precisely what a flooded Chart needs: a sturdy barrier that gives the flow some shape and direction.

In Braden’s case, Yang Earth acts like a container for his chaotic thoughts and eccentric impulses. It gives him drive, projection, and the ability to shape his Water-heavy inner world into something others can perceive as confidence. This is where the sense of direction and ambition come from. Without the Yang Earth, this Chart would collapse inward; with it, he turns Water into momentum.

SUPERTALENTS

Yang Earth here functions as a Communicator Supertalent, which gives him persuasion, salesmanship, and the ability to project certainty even if the internal structure isn’t strong. He doesn’t communicate through eloquent speech; he communicates through identity, framing, and aesthetics. This is still the Communicator Supertalent at work, just expressed non-verbally.

Yin Wood on the Year Pillar also extracts some of the Water and appears as a Companion Supertalent. You can see that in his behavior — he often appears with another man in his videos, and that partnership gives him stability and a way to express his persona. It’s a classic Companion pattern: someone who needs another presence to regulate their own energy.

SUPPORTIVE DYNAMIC LUCK

Clavicular Talent BridgeHis Dynamic Luck is highly supportive. In 2019, he entered the Yang Fire / Dog period, bringing Fire and Dry Earth; exactly the Elements this Chart needs. Yang Fire gives him Output, which allows him to project himself, connect with an audience, and create attention. Dog brings solid Dry Earth, which further contains the Water and stabilizes the Chart.

This combination activates his Entrepreneurship Talent Bridge, transforming his online presence into a business model. You can see the spike in Efficiency and Intensity for that Talent Bridge in the Chart above. Fire opens expression, Earth shapes it, and Water provides the content and eccentricity. It’s a perfect setup for someone to turn a niche persona into a successful brand.

RECENT CONTROVERSY

His money luck might be booming, but there is a danger that he knocks himself out with excessive confidence. Due to a high amount of Water (Medicine + Resource), he tends to think of himself as a doctor, so recently he was injecting his friend with face filler, which created a massive public backlash.

Those are dangerous games in public, and it shows how young people these days are ready to do anything for fame and clicks. The nature of online fame is that it comes quickly and goes quickly, so Braden will have to work a bit harder to extend his appeal beyond cheap aesthetic tricks, if he wants to last longer in a cruel world of online fame (and defame).
