Introducing: Meta BaZi

We teased several times about our upcoming AI BaZi project, and it is now finally time to reveal it to the public.

In this post, we won’t go into too much detail. In a few days, we will write a longer overview, but just to give you an idea, here are the key features of our Meta BaZi project.

STANDARD BAZI FEATURES

The Meta BaZi platform offers standard features, including the ability to create BaZi profiles with charts and visuals, similar to those in our BaZi Hero app.

AI CHAT FEATURE

But here is the twist: each BaZi profile includes an AI Chat feature where you can ask specific questions about the chart. Because the system already performs all the calculations, it can provide much more granular answers without hallucinations. Standard AI models like ChatGPT or Gemini often struggle to interpret BaZi Charts accurately, but our sophisticated algorithm minimizes those errors.

DEEP DIVES LIBRARY

The problem with standard AI models is that users often don’t know what to ask, so we created a library of Deep Dives, which are specially designed prompts and are powered by our algorithm. By using these ready Deep Dives, one can quickly gain a solid understanding, then switch to Chat mode to ask follow-up questions. Our library currently consists of 35 Deep Dives, and this will grow, maybe even with your help, by providing feedback.

DEEP MEMORY

Another issue with free or low-cost AI models is their limited memory capacity. Our system will memorize all key features of a particular chart, and you can add your own to make it highly personalized. Please note that Deep Memory is available only with the Professional plan.

The idea behind Meta BaZi is that we treat BaZi profiles as an ongoing diary. Whenever you have a question about a specific person, or something happens to them or to you, you add that information to the chat, and our system will continue building a case, making each subsequent conversation smarter.

We believe this is an ideal platform for professional BaZi experts who manage dozens of clients, enabling them to create case studies they can refer to.

Casual BaZi enthusiasts can use our platform to track their friends and family and offer consultations when needed.

Consider this version v1. We have many ideas for v2, which we might introduce in several months, and we will focus on deepening connections between profiles to build a valid compatibility diagnostic. Eventually, the system will be aware of all your family members and friends, and will take that into account when providing answers.

We call this the holy grail of BaZi analysis, and now, with the help of AI, we believe we can finally build such a system.

WHAT ABOUT THE BAZI HERO APP?

Some of you might wonder why we didn’t build this into the existing BaZi Hero app. We considered that, but realized it would disrupt the current concept and many users would be unhappy with the changes. BaZi Hero is a very popular app, with over 10.000 monthly users, so we didn’t want to disturb that concept. Our plan is to thoroughly test AI BaZi through Meta BaZi and, if feasible, eventually add some of those functionalities there, but at the moment, we don’t have a concrete plan for that.

Users have a choice: stick with static charts and static analysis, and I believe many of you prefer that. But those who want to explore AI capabilities can switch to Meta Bazi, which offers nearly all of BaZi Hero’s technical features, plus an additional AI layer that we believe is the future of BaZi diagnostics, given its computational power.
